Don’t put your weight on front , it will tip forward. The stopper stopped it so I didn’t fall out

Don’t put your weight on the front foot pedals to push yourself back on the chair it will tip forward. The stopper stopped it so I didn’t fall out. It is way more comfortable than many shower chairs that I’ve use. Just a warning to be cautious of leaning forward and pushing my way down to get my body back further . It did to forward

Cant go through door thresholds

Cant go through door thresholds. It does not have any puller at the back to do this, as any decent wheelchair will have. If your house is 100% flat, great, otherwise, I simply can't move my mom with it, since it can't go through a simple 1/4 inch threshold, so I have to return it.
Seems strong enough, but the seat (according to my mother) feels not very comfortable.

needs fold down or up arms and a safety belt

great shower chair but needs a couple of sorely needed features. Needs fold up or down arm rests so the person can be transferred into chair easier, transferring a person from the bed to the chair is hard when you can't slide them sideways into the chair. Also needs some kind of safety belt to hold person in chair.

Fantastic

This Shower Buddy is very easy to put together, no tools needed. It is sturdy and I really like that it moves in all directions and has 4 brakes that hold very well. It has a large oval bucket and an open seat all the way to the front when using it as a toilet, and for washing up in the shower, handy. This chair has made it possible for me to continue to be able to keep Mom home and give her the needed security and ability to shower again without fear of falling. We use it for ALL of it's intended purposes. Love it. Would highly recommend it.

Great addition for showering loved ones

This has been a tremendous device to shower my husband-who is very immobile. His caregivers love it because it makes the process so much easier and they recommended this type.
